An average of 600 women pass through our doors each month. The programs and safe space that we offer makes a difference to each and every one.

The Zarqa Life Center is a holistic response to the unique challenges faced by the most at-risk communities in Zarqa, Jordan. We help improve the lives of Syrian refugee women and children as well as the most vulnerable local Jordanians by providing them with opportunities to pursue vocational skills, and by offering social care including home visits and medical referral.

We also offer counselling, lectures, and support groups to equip women with coping skills to deal with the various stresses of their unique situations, and to encourage the social integration of refugees in host communities.

With our growing number of programs, the Life Center aims to equip particularly vulnerable communities cope with and heal from the adversities they face. Our approach to is to address and support the needs of the whole individual on a psychological, physical, social and spiritual level by providing a safe space that encourages women to come together, learn, grow, and share their experiences.

We Need Donations

The Life Center strives to help its beneficiaries obtain long term self-sufficiency, however there is still often dire need for immediate relief, as well as long-term solutions to the challenges the Center faces on a daily basis.
